In our movie opener, we follow a teenage girl searching for the purpose and perpetrator of her demise. We see through her eyes the terror it has brought to those who love her as she attends the school in her afterlife. We wanted this to be evident, showcasing her in the same outfit she wore we she reached her last breath. The viewer doesn't know what the purpose of her death was, leaving that cliff hanger for them to ponder. She was beloved, we know that, and her death is mourned. She is extremely popular amongst her peers as she was very bubbly and sweet. Her delicate style we achieved was meant to display that. Her mentality now must be shown on the multiple bruises that trace across her body. She constantly loses it upon seeing herself, obviously her death has put a mark on her. Her sole motivation now is to find who killed her and why.
