Nacho Libre storyboard!!

Though it's very silly and unserious, I chose Nacho Libre to story board since it holds a very dear place in my heart. I have watched this movie 5 times in only the month of October, which my seem insane but hear me out... it's hilarious and based off a true story.

Shot #1

In the first shot of this scene, you see Ignacio and Encarnacion strolling through the village. The camera follows them from the front. It's a medium shot and their surroundings are dim due to the night lighting. However, scenery is still visible.

Shot #2

Here is another medium shot. This shot shows Ignacio leaning against a column, attempting to impress Encarnacion. Shading is still plentiful here, and the camera follows his movements to the lean.

Shot #3

Encarnacion doesn't look very flattered, eyeing him like a madman (respectfully so). The camera centers her again, with dim lighting in the scenery and soft lighting on herself.

Shot #4

Ignacio does his iconic pose, the back quench. The camera pans onto his bizarre behavior, emphasizing his attempt at 'flattery'. Lighting is dim in the scenery still, but a building far off seems to be nicely lit with orange tones.

Shot #5

Around here is where I began to give up on facial detail and more on the pose itself. Ignacio is now in a half lunge. The camera follows him to the sidewalk floor and the lighting continues as it was before.

Shot #6

For this last shot, Ignacio embraces Encarnacion, trying to 'protect' her from a planned fight. However, these were just random pedestrians so his attempt to seem strong through a planned fight failed. Here, the lighting is practically the same, soft light shinning on both their faces.
